How to Download Kick VODs as MP4

Save a public Kick replay in desktop Chrome, choose 720p or another available quality, and download only the time range you need.

Use the free Kick VOD downloader to save a public replay you own or have permission to download. You do not need an account or an extension. The downloader runs in desktop Chrome, not on mobile.

1. Copy the replay link

Open the replay on Kick and copy its address. Use a link with a channel name, /videos/, and a video ID. A channel homepage is not a replay link. Deleted, private and subscriber-only videos are not supported.

2. Choose an available quality

Paste the link into Replay link and select Continue. The quality menu lists the versions available from the source. Choose 720p when available for a balance between detail and file size. Choosing a higher resolution cannot improve the original recording.

3. Keep the section you want

Use Start and End in HH:MM:SS format. To skip the first ten minutes, set Start to 00:10:00. To keep only the third through eighth hours, set Start to 03:00:00 and End to 08:00:00. Times refer to the original replay, not the downloaded file. Cuts follow source segments and may include a few extra seconds.

4. Save the MP4

Select Save MP4 and choose a file location. Keep the tab open and your computer awake. Video parts are downloaded directly from Kick and written as one MP4; the complete video is not held in memory. Allow about twice the estimated video size plus 1 GB of free disk space for browser file-writing overhead.

What about an ongoing stream?

If Kick exposes a replay playlist while the stream is live, analysis captures its currently available end. It does not automatically keep recording future footage. Analyze the replay again later to download an additional range.

If downloading stops

Keep the existing file and browser data. Read our download troubleshooting guide before restarting. Connection speed depends on your network and the source server; parallel fetching cannot guarantee a particular speed.
